Position Summary:

Signature Tree Solutions is a leading provider of sustainable forestry solutions, committed to managing and preserving natural resources responsibly. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Sennebogen Operator to join our team and contribute to our mission of promoting eco-friendly practices in the forestry industry.

As a Sennebogen Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our fleet of Sennebogen machines, ensuring the efficient and safe loading, unloading, and movement of materials within our forestry operations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations, adhering to safety standards, and supporting our commitment to sustainable forestry practices.

Duties to include:

• Safely operate and maneuver Sennebogen equipment, such as Sennebogen 718 track machine and 728 on tires

• Load and unload logs, lumber, and other forestry materials onto trucks or designated areas.

• Handle and transport materials within the worksite while adhering to safety guidelines and operational standards.

• Conduct routine inspections of the Sennebogen machinery to identify and report any mechanical issues, defects, or malfunctions.

• Perform some regular maintenance and cleaning of the equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

• Collaborate with the forestry team to coordinate tasks effectively and contribute to efficient workflow.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and promote a safe working environment.

• Report incidents, accidents, and near-misses immediately to the appropriate supervisor.

• Comply with all company policies, rules, and regulations during work hours.

• Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge related to equipment operation and safety practices.

• Support the company's commitment to sustainable forestry practices and environmental conservation.

• Minimum requirements:

• Proven experience as a Sennebogen Operator or similar heavy equipment operation in a forestry or related industry.

• In-depth knowledge of operating Sennebogen machinery, including various models and their capabilities.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Excellent vision or the use of prescribed lenses.

• Exceptional manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

• Strong understanding of safety protocols and practices in heavy equipment operation.

• Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness to navigate equipment effectively in challenging terrain.

• Physical fitness and stamina to perform tasks in various weather conditions and challenging environments.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with forestry team members effectively.

• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identify potential problems and address them promptly.
