Position Summary:
We are seeking On-Site Managers (apprentice and experienced) to work on multiple project sites in the Napa Valley and surrounding areas. This position will work exclusively with the Senior Project Manager, other Site Managers, General Foremen and Crew Leaders to help manage safety, supplies, data, direction, client and public interfacing, as well as a host of other logistics that keep a safe, professional and profitable work place running efficiently.
Candidate must have the drive to team-build, lead and work between multiple crews and management to help position each individual and themselves for success with provided detailed work plans and top-notch equipment.

Duties to include:
Leading and working with the teams by supporting General Working Foremen, Crew Leaders, Climbers, Fellers, Equipment Operators and Grounds Personnel.
Assemble crews, communicate mission details, follow plans that will lead to safe, on-time, professional, successfully executed work.
Daily management of document control (paper and electronic)
Supervise, delegate and coach your designated teams their tasks while implementing safety compliance along with the Signature Tree Solutions high standards of quality craftsmanship and on-time work delivery.
Manage and mitigate crew member conflicts and execute any necessary disciplinary action while maintaining a positive and professional work environment.
Provide ongoing safety, productivity and professional growth training.
Act as the team Safety Officer - safeguarding from hazards in and around work areas including the daily management of safety document control.
Manage and own the accountability of securing all work zones, this includes: safeguarding infrastructure, shielding company equipment, necessary obstruction of streets, walkways or driveways; setting up barriers, warning signs, flags, etc. and other activities to protect property, employees and the public.
Ensure proper maintenance, preparation, supplies and operations of all tools and equipment used by your team. This includes opening up and closing out the site every operational day.
Plans, organizes, coordinates, and controls the project in accordance with Signature Tree Solutions established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements.
Provides leadership, direction and coordination for all project team members
Establishes and monitors project safety and quality programs
Through active risk management, protects the Company from unnecessary risks
Ensures that the project meets or exceeds financial and cash management goals
Prepare your team for environments that include: considerable temperature variations (hot, cold, wet, dry conditions), rough terrain, steep ground, exposure to natural elements (irritating plants, poison oak, blackberries, ticks, rattlesnakes, biting spiders, stinging wasps, hornets, dust, smoke, fire, etc.)
Drive trucks and potentially trailers.
Minimum requirements:
3-4 years’ experience in Tree Care industry
Must be TCIA Certified Treecare Safety Professional
Bilingual, fluent in English and Spanish
Must be committed to “Guaranteed Safety” in all decisions and actions
Must have a valid Class C Driver’s License
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
Must pass full-panel drug screen
Must pass in-depth criminal background check
