Summit Lake Dr Road Side Fuel Reduction Project

Please anticipate 15 minute Traffic delays on Summit Lake Dr from 05/04/25 until 05/30/25 tentatively from 7:00AM to 5:00PM. Signature Tree Solutions is working for Napa Communities Firewise Foundation and the County of Napa to reduce more wildfire fuels along our roadways.

  • Starting May 5th through the entire month of May there will be 15 minute traffic holds on Sanitarium Road.

  • Traffic holds can be expected Monday through Friday from 7am to 5pm.

  • Our lunch schedule will have roads open without delay between 11:00AM to 11:30 AM approximately.

Estimated completion is end of May, 2025.

What exactly are we doing?

We are diligently establishing essential fuel breaks and defensible space along the roadways to safeguard our community from potential wildfire hazards. Through the use of state-of-the-art machinery, we skillfully clear trees and vegetation that could pose risks as wildfire fuel sources. Our highly trained crews possess the expertise to preserve our cherished trees while effectively maintaining our area's safety and protection.

Where is this Project taking place?

Start-Stop: 1200 Summit Lake Drive to 2000 Summit Lake Drive.

How will this affect me?

Expect up to15 minute road delays with 1 way traffic control and lane closures. Expect traffic control between

7:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a

Lunch Break from 11:00 AM - 11:30 AM

Please be mindful of our crews while driving through our work-zones.

How long will this project take?

Our crews are working as fast as possible, utilizing mechanized equipment to make this project go by smoothly for everyone affected. This projects timeline is from May 5th to the end of May of 2025.
